Alice Peto trained as an artist in Florence before spending seven years teaching art to children. Her paintings have featured in a range of exhibitions, and she also produces a bespoke line which includes invitations, maps, and an extensive range of prints.
The idea for the collection of table and ovenware came to Alice when buying gifts for friends’ weddings. She noticed the market lacked china that was bold and distinct, yet delicate and elegant - but that could still be used everyday.
Countless trips to Stoke-on-Trent later, her eponymous collection launched at Decorex in 2013, and her beautifully coloured illustrations can now be found on over 40 different pieces, from a fine china mug to a vast rectangular oven-proof dish.
We think the collection bridges the gap perfectly between the modern and traditional, the everyday and the formal, the urban and the country, and will add colour and style to any table.
Alice also works to commission, and can design bespoke ranges of china - whether to serve your family house, or an entire hotel.
